Examples of assignments combining measurements, studies, operating documentation and outputs for authorities.

Hand-arm vibration measurement

Workers used vibrating tools, for example grinders, hammers, power tools, or service equipment. Measure hand-arm transmitted vibrations and evaluate exposure according to actual work duration. We identified representative tools and work regime, performed vibration measurements, and calculated worker exposure.

Deliverable: Hand-arm vibration measurement report.

Whole-body vibration measurement

Employees worked on handling, construction, forestry, or transport equipment. It was necessary to determine vibration exposure during actual work activity. Measure whole-body vibrations and convert them to shift exposure. We selected typical work machines, routes, or work regimes, performed vibration measurements on the worker's seat, and evaluated results according to exposure duration.

Deliverable: Whole-body vibration measurement report.

Noise study for HVAC, cooling, or outdoor technology

The technology was located on a roof, facade, or in a site near protected areas. It was necessary to verify whether the hygiene noise limit would be exceeded. Prepare a noise study or noise measurement and propose noise mitigation measures where applicable. We obtained noise source technical parameters, technology location, and protected area positions. We prepared calculation or measurement and evaluated day/night operation.

Deliverable: Noise study or noise measurement report.

Noise measurement from a heat pump

The heat pump was a noise source in residential development or near an apartment building. Evening and night operation was often the main concern. Measure or calculate heat pump noise and compare it with hygiene limits. We evaluated unit location, operating regime, nearest protected areas, and performed measurement or noise calculation.

Deliverable: Noise measurement report or noise study.

Noise study for a production site

The operation included technology sources, loading, transport, HVAC, fans, or outdoor handling. Protected areas were located nearby. Evaluate noise from the entire operation or technology change during day and night. We obtained operating data, noise source layout, traffic intensities, and nearest protected area positions. We prepared a noise model and evaluation.

Deliverable: Noise study for the production site.

Noise measurement from a diesel generator

The diesel generator could be used as backup or operating power source. Noise had to be assessed relative to nearest protected areas. Measure noise in a representative regime and evaluate the source impact on the surroundings. We arranged an operating test, performed noise measurement at relevant locations, and evaluated results for day or night period.

Deliverable: Noise measurement report, and noise reduction recommendations where applicable.

Noise from a crusher, sorter, or recycling technology

Material processing equipment was a noise source and often also a dust source. Residential development or other protected areas were located nearby. Evaluate technology noise and propose operational or technical measures. We prepared a noise assessment of the technology, including operating hours, source positions, handling, and transport within the site.

Deliverable: Noise study or noise measurement.

Noise and vibration measurement for construction, forestry, or service activities

Workers used various machines, vehicles, or hand tools. Activities varied according to contract and work location. Select representative activities and determine daily noise and vibration exposure. We agreed typical work procedures, measured noise and vibrations during actual work, and converted results to shift exposure.

Deliverable: Noise and vibration measurement reports.
